  • vegan: " people who eat meat are fucking evil and disgusting, you all make me sick, i hope you die"

social-justice-situations:

A genderqueer tumblr blogger is at the supermarket, having used up her daily allotment of social interaction on making the dangerous trek through crowds of people. The cashier has just begun scanning their items, and says “Did you find everything alright, miss?”

The genderqueer is triggered, their Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome (self-diagnosed of course, but the medical system is run by white cis people so don’t say self-diagnoses isn’t valid) bringing up other horrible times in their lives when complete strangers didn’t read their mind and find out what pronoun they preferred today. They note their own forehead veins did not throb Anime-style, making a mental note to make a post about how ableist Anime artists are too people who don’t have veins close to the surface.

“YOU TRIGGERED ME! DIE CIS SCUM!” They say, and stab the cashier with a knife. Blood is everywhere, and he succumbs to the stabbing wound in his chest.

The other shoppers and cashiers look on in horror, as the genderqueer turns to them, empowered. Something dark and terrible begins to flicker in the genderqueer’s eyes.

“Cis people, if you aren’t scum, you have nothing to fear.” And the blogger smiles as the screams begin.

“But what are cis people?” One of the scum says as she is murdered.

The genderqueer says “It’s not my job to educate you.”

Why the fuck is this on my dash? It disgusts me so much. Looks good huh? The murdered body of an innocent animal? Just throw on some season and sauce and the murder taste will go away don’t worry! Fuck you. UNFOLLOWED.

mermaid-vision:

This isn’t exactly news or especially profound or anything, but I wrote it for a project I did last semester. I thought it was lost forever and am kind of proud of it so I wanna share it!

  • You can see bodies and stories about experiences like yours in popular media and art.
  • Your existence is unquestioned and the amount of space you take up does not have to be justified.
  • Your right to live and be respected as a member of your gender is unquestioned.
  • It is not suggested to you that your gender is a phase or that you need therapy for it.
  • You have no trouble in gender segregated facilities such as shelters, dorms, rehab, prisons, public bathrooms, locker rooms and gyms, etc.
  • You are not interrogated about your genitalia, nor forced to reveal yourself.
  • You are not likely to be assaulted, raped, or murdered as a direct result of your gender or be told that it was your fault due to your gender expression.
  • You have reasonable access to support and if necessary, a legal system and resources that will correct the wrong.
  • If you need medical procedures that assert your gender, these desires go unquestioned and gender specific medical care is upheld and covered by insurance.
  • You can expect access to local, current, and appropriate healthcare from respectful physicians without denial or discrimination based on gender or sex life and without having to lie about it to receive even basic treatments.
  • Your sex life- how you do it, with whom, how much, and why you do it is unquestioned when verifying your gender.
  • Your right to express your gender is considered universally legal and valid and has been honored your whole life by doctors, parents, teachers, friends, etc. no matter how you’ve expressed it in the past or as a child.
  • You were raised as the gender you feel is appropriate for you and you do not have to go back and learn vital skills that were assumed to be not applicable to you. If you need to, you can find a support system and resources to help you.
  • Others accept that there are periods of time or aspects of your life that you may wish to keep private and do not insist you are attacking them by feeling uncomfortable revealing certain information.
  • Your lovers expect your genitals to look the way they do and have accepted this before deciding to engage in intimacy.
  • There is no conflict about being recognized as your gender and a member of your family.
  • You can expect to travel internationally without dispute of the legality of your gender.
  • Private information about your gender is not revealed by childhood photos, IDs, transcripts, birth certificate or other official documents, pronouns, gendered relationship words (daughter, mother, aunt), legal or previous names, your voice and how you sound with a cold, while coughing, sneezing, yelling, or singing, your body parts and functions, or the clothing you prefer and how you choose to express your gender. Also, the clothing you want to wear suits your body shape, more or less and accurately and safely expresses your gender.
  • If people do mistake your gender, you are likely to expect no changes in your safety and your level of upset-ness is unquestioned. (The “It’s just so hard, I’m trying!” excuse does not apply.)

:)

Being fetishized is NOT something to be thankful for.

white-oppression:

If you are a PoC who is usually on the lower tier in the hierarchy of races according to white society, you are justified in your anger towards white culture and how it treats PoC.

However, it is very important that you DO NOT think that more privileged PoC should be thankful for having light skin or “desirable” features.

Why?

They are being fetishized by white people. Although that may give them a leg-up in white society, being fetishized or objectified is NEVER okay.

Yes, they are privileged.

No, they should not be thankful for being fetishized because that can lead to a whole different mess in regards to objectification, rape culture, etc.

But privileged PoC, acknowledge your privilege and don’t try to pretend you’re always on the same level with the less privileged.

Ah, excuses for hatred is great

Hey.

secretsofthedisabled:

SRS: Yellow- lack of inclusion of disabled people, ableism, depression

I’m just not in a good head space right now because Hetalia has ableist rules and no character could ever be disabled and I could just really use a doll maker that has actual disabled people in it- without inspiration porn- so if you know of one forward it to me?

What.
